At MCN, (and as you can see throughout this website), we provide a lot of different products and services.  One of the more important things is trying to give performing artists (of all levels and genres), sound advice and tools on how to grow their online presence...and their email database.

If you use Facebook (and I’m pretty sure you do), you may have heard about their new “Like” Button announced last week that can be embedded outside of the Facebook system.  It lets anyone reading a news item, looking at a photo, watching a video, etc. on your site, “Like” it and announce that like to every friend that they have on Facebook.  It also shows you, which of your friends has already liked that item.

Here are a few tricks I use regularly with Youtube embeds that I think you'll find useful.  All of them involve tweaking the URL or embed code.

Embed a video that cuts to the chase.

This is extremely useful when you want to skip the boring or irrelevant parts of a video and get right to the point.  Say you have a movie.
